With the national plans for increasing the number of nearly zero-energy buildings (see EPBD Recast article 9, paragraph 1) having to be delivered by September 2012, most Member States are currently busy working on their national application of the definition fixed in article 2, paragraph 2.

In this context, Construtec also hosted the first congress of Nearly Zero Energy buildings (NZEB), organized by Grupo Tecma Red y Solar Decathlon Europe. Here, more than 500 congressmen and industry professionals learned about the implications that the construction industry will face with the adoption of the Directive 2010/31, concerning  energy efficiency of buildings, as well as the transformation that is occurring in Europe and also the need for these professionals to be the main drivers of this change.

En este marco, Construtec también ha sido sede del I Congreso de Edificios de Energía Casi Nula (EECN), organizada por el. En ella, más de 500 congresistas, profesionales del sector, pudieron conocer  las implicaciones en la construcción tendrá la adopción de la Directiva 2010/31; relativa a la eficiencia energética de los edificios, así como la transformación que se está produciendo en Europa, y la necesidad de que estos profesionales sean los actores principales de ese cambio.
