Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, the mission of the START2ACT project is to support young SMEs and startups to save energy and cut costs at their workplace. To fulfill this mission, we are offering free-of-charge mentoring and training activities in nine European countries:
Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and United Kingdom.

The Energy-efficient Buildings (EeB) cPPP is a partnership between the European Commission (EC) and the private sector as represented by the private members of the EeB cPPP Partnership Board and supported by the Energy Efficient Buildings Committee (E2B) of the European Construction, built environment and energy efficient building Technology Platform (ECTP).

The cut-off date to apply for the 2018 Investment Round is October 4, InnoEnergy said. The investments range from EUR 100,000 to EUR 5 million.
The Investment Round targets SMEs with proven technology concepts that will transform the future of energy in Europe. Since launching the Round in 2011, InnoEnergy has invested EUR 190 million in projects spanning eight technology areas across Europe – resulting in EUR 3 billion of forecast sales.

Call for expression of interest
The European Commission invites Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) support organisations, green solution providers and regional authorities in the European Union to put themselves forward if they are interested in participating in a pilot project providing them respectively with training, support and policy advice regarding resource efficiency, eco-innovation and circular economy.

This event, which will take place on 28 September 2017 in Dublin, Ireland, aims to engage policymakers and stakeholders in an informed discussion on ways to upscale energy efficiency investments. This includes sharing best practice on how to reach out to and engage Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in thinking about energy efficiency investments and presentation of the opportunities for unlocking the potential for energy efficiency investments in Ireland and the UK.

Europa Media and Geonardo are a group of SMEs and well familiar with the need to apply energy saving practices in their offices. In fact, that is where the inspiration for the START2ACT project began. Now, as the project is in its second year, many creative ideas for engaging ways to deliver the main message are flowing – start to act and save energy at work!
