CYPETHERM Improvements is a tool for energy audits and analysis of improvement measures in buildings. It has been developed and improved within the H2020 project RenoZEB and released by the company CYPE, partner of the consortium.

The main objective of the program is to compare the energy performance of a building before and after renovation. Therefore, as a first step a user should import the xml results from an energy performance calculation of the existing building as released with the associated tool CYPERTHERM ePlus.

Starting from the initial performances, the tool allows for implementing the renovation measures and evaluate the potential energy savings and associated benefits. The tool allows for the implementation of the budget for the interventions, the associated maintenance and operation costs and the possible grants and aids that can be obtained.

Moreover, the user can calculate a detailed breakdown of the costs for the energy supply according to the vector used, and can perform an economic analysis to evaluate the time for recovery the initial investment for the renovation, considering also the annual energy cost increase and inflation and the discount fee.
