European Energy Service Media Award

Share this Post:

Journalists in the European Union who contribute, through their work, to the development and better understanding of energy services – for example Energy Performance Contracting – in a print or online media, in radio or television in 2010, are invited to submit their best media contribution and to take part in this competition.
The aim of the award which is initiated by Berliner Energieagentur is to show the increasing importance of private Energy Service Companies (ESCO) in reaching climate protection and energy efficiency targets. The Media Award honours the performance of engaged journalists who popularise and illustrate the subject of energy services to the large public and specialized audience and, hence, contributed to its stronger dissemination.

The winner will receive a prize money of 2,000 Euro sponsored by the European Association of Energy Service Companies (eu.ESCO). A high-ranking jury of media professionals and energy service experts will select the best contribution.
