FACE | Façades Architecture Construction Engineering (4th edition)

EURAC research offers a training course aimed at increasing the know-how of companies and freelance professionals operating in the field of complex technological building façades. The course aims to transfer concepts and innovative methods in the sector of advanced façades to freelance professionals and technical staff of construction companies. The educational program has a complete structure regarding the covered topics, to provide innovative concepts, tools and methods, while stimulating the growth of local, national and international skills in the construction sector, increasingly subject to environmental and energy regulations and severely affected by the global economic crisis.

 

The course mission is to increase the specific know-how of companies and freelance professionals operating in the field of façades providing insights on the most discussed technical issues of the present and emerging trends for the future. In addition, FACE contributes in building a network of technical operators and specialized professionals who can work in the market ensuring quality and competence, to reach important goals in terms of business positioning and related revenues.

 

The course is divided into 6 units. It is characterized by a strong orientation to practice with the participation of experienced speakers, well-known for their skills in the field. All contents have been conceived and designed to address the main themes of concept, design, calculation, production, installation and maintenance of complex building facades. A study trip to Milan is planned to closely analyze significant examples of technological innovation in the field of façades.
