Promoting the uptake of alternative energy systems

The EU IEE SAVE project SENTRO has updated the presentation of all project results on it website. The project aims were to develop and promote an “optimal” approach in order to effectively incorporate the feasibility studies of alternative energy systems (art. 5 EPBD) in the common building process. The website offers amongst other things a handbooks for performing feasibility studies of alternative energy systems in various languages including existing suitable tools. A universal checklist and national versions to select interesting renewable energy systems are available as well together with the full report of the project, an executive summary and shining examples of projects that took into account alternative energy systems.
