Are IoT, BIM, robotics and smart buildings a foreign language for your building professionals? Join us at one of Europe’s biggest building industry events to discover and share how the buildings sector could become fluent in digital technologies for smart, energy-efficient buildings.
BUILD UP is holding a one-day workshop on 16 May at the Barcelona Building CONSTRUMAT’19 international trade fair to promote upskilling the building sector to meet the challenges of new European energy and climate targets.
From January 2021, all new constructions will have to be nearly-zero energy buildings, while existing buildings will have to be renovated at a faster rate than now. That translates into opportunities for building professionals who are skilled and qualified in the latest digital technologies.
Find out more at the workshop on:
- Digital innovations in the buildings sector
- The revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive
- What digitalisation means for building professionals
- Digital skills training for building professionals
- Success stories in upskilling the industry
The workshop is in English. Register here to share information and views at the workshop with European Commission specialists, national authorities, building industry representatives, education & training experts and EU-funded projects. And don’t miss a demonstration of innovative technologies in the buildings sector.
