CE marking for construction products “step-by-step” guide

This guide from the European Commission is a useful tool for manufacturers of construction products planning to CE mark their products in the European Union, or seeking advice on a “to-do list”.

 

The guide explains the necessary steps to follow in the following cases:

 

  • In the case of CE marking a new construction product.
  • In case the product’s processes, raw materials, testing, etc. have changed, which makes the revision of the required documents necessary.
  • In the case of updating the CE marking of construction products, so that they comply with the new rules applied as of 1 July 2013.
