Changing windows and ventilation

Share this Post:

This guide for window installers was produced by six professional organisations that are members of the French Building Federation (FFB) and representatives of the design, manufacture and installation of windows. Its objective is to provide window installers with assistance in the prescription of ventilation air inlets on window frames during window changing operations in an existing building, so that the installation complies with the requirements of the regulations. By providing basic knowledge on building ventilation, it allows window installers to choose the correct air inlet dimensions in different cases, including in the presence of gas burning appliances. This guide also allows the window installer to inform his client of the importance of air renewal and to answer his questions and preconceived ideas.
