The iBRoad tool consist of two components: the Roadmap Assistant and the Logbook, both of which are implemented as web applications.

The data structure for the Roadmap Assistant can be considered to be “standard”: the data fields it needs to store are fixed (i.e. determined in advance), and the data fits the model of a relational database very well. The database structure for the Logbook is shown conceptually in the form of an Entity Relationship Diagram.

This report describes the data structure and current software implementation of the iBRoad Roadmap Assistant and Logbook components.
