IREEN project: How to integrate technologies and experts’ collaboration toward sustainable neighbourhoods?

IREEN Reference GuideThe IREEN roadmap shows how ICT can support and enable energy efficiency in neighbourhoods in both urban and rural areas. The steps in the roadmap cover short, mid and long-term actions in neighbourhood planning, buildings & infrastructure, transport, energy production, storage and management, and the overarching role of people involvement. In the IREEN Reference Guide you can read the full roadmap, visionary scenarios and interviews with city representatives on learning and best practice. There is also an introduction to the IREEN Toolkit, which will assist the public and private sector in the implementation of the roadmap outcomes. You can download a full copy of the Reference Guide at: www.ireenproject.eu You can also join the eeCities Wiki in the EU webgate. Here you will find more project details, such as city interview summaries, and links to related projects in the field of energy-efficient neighbourhoods.
