The report provides insights into strategies and measures that companies are taking to halve the embodied carbon emissions, which refer to building materials and construction processes, by 2030. Hence, the focus is on how to achieve the system change that we need, following the idea of doing "more with less".

 

The report is divided into two parts: the first part focuses on the early-stage, whereas the second part examines the specific choices and measures that companies might apply within the individual building layers to maximize embodied carbon reductions.
