One-stop shop for energy efficiency in buildings in France

Share this Post:

Announced by the French President within his Sustainable Housing Plan in March 2013, the “one-stop-shop” for housing energy renovation was launched in September 2013.

This scheme will help to increase the number of housing energy renovations in France, from 150,000 per year in 2012 to a target of 500,000 in 2017.

Some 450 energy information centers (named PRIS for "Point Renovation Info Service") have been implemented over the whole French territory, providing building occupants or owners with quality and neutral information on energy audits, technical options for energy renovation, financing schemes, available public supports…

This presentation was given at the Second Meeting of the Project “Monitoring of energy efficiency in the EU” (ODYSSEE-MURE), 30-31 January 2014, London.
