On 30 November 2915, at the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris, Indian Prime Minister Narendera Modi and French President Francois Hollande launched an International Solar Alliance to boost solar energy in developing countries. The initiative will be hosted at India’s National Institute of Solar Energy for five years.
