The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), organised by the European Commission, is the biggest event dedicated to renewable energy sources and efficient energy use in Europe.   It brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient power. The event provides a unique platform for sharing ideas and knowhow, to showcase projects, network and gain immediate feedback from policymakers and citizens alike.

The global economy is set to double in size over the next 20 years. But that does not mean it will need twice as much energy to power all the extra cars, homes and factories such growth will bring. By taking the available opportunities to become more energy efficient, we would need only the same amount of energy we use today. The result would be a global economy with reduced emissions, lower pollution and enhanced energy security – we would live more comfortable lives and receive lower energy bills.

The Campus Humanitas University is a new international university of medicine, located near the renowned Humanitas Research Hospital Hospital in Rozzano, near Milan.   The project involves the creation of a new university infrastructure serving about 1000 students. The campus, surrounded by a large park, takes full advantage of its location through a masterplan based on pedestrian paths, offering a harmonious relationship with the surrounding green, with no natural continuity solutions.
