Interreg Europe provides assistance to three types of beneficiaries, based in one the 28 EU Member States, Switzerland or Norway:   public authorities; managing authorities/intermediate bodies; agencies, research institutes, thematic and non-profit organisations. Interreg Europe builds on its forerunner, INTERREG IVC (2007-2013) and aims to get maximum return from the EUR 359 million financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for 2014-2020.

This scheme is now closed.   Фонда за жилищно обновяване   The project "Energy renovation of Bulgarian homes" enables Bulgarian households to implement energy efficiency measures (replacement of windows, insulation, etc.) and provides, through the Building Renovation Fund, 50% of the necessary funds for this purpose in the form of loans/guarantees. The remaining 50% can be financed through a grant from the European Regional Development Fund 2007-2013.

This scheme is closed. Energy Efficiency at Household Buildings II is expected to be launched by the end of Summer 2017   Εξοικονόμηση κατ΄ Οίκον   "Energy Efficiency at Household Buildings" [sic] is a programme co-financed by the European Union, which aims to provide financial incentives to citizens for the improvement of the energy efficiency of their homes.

This scheme is now closed.   From autumn 2012, housing blocks in Romanian municipalities that are county capitals will be entitled to financial support to increase their energy efficiency.   The financing scheme will apply to housing blocks built during the period 1950-1990, and inhabited by vulnerable social categories and families with low income in municipalities that are county capitals.
