The 28th edition of Restructura (26-29 November 2015) in Turin will offer main actors from the construction chain the possibility to discover innovative technologies which have been developed within the European EASEE project for energy efficiency in buildings.
On 26 November 2015 (2-4pm), the workshop “From design to implementation: innovative retrofitting approaches” will present technological solutions and related strategies to be implemented in the area of building renovation in terms of energy reduction.

Around half of Europe’s buildings were built before 1975, in an era when energy efficiency, CO2 emissions and energy consumption were not a priority. Now a strong need arises to transform the most energy demanding buildings into energy efficient ones. Insights will be shared during a workshop held at the Warsaw Build Expo.

The European Energy Centre is organising a two-day course (basic + advanced) on energy efficiency in buildings. After the end of the course an exam will follow for the Galileo Master certificate. The course contents include: Energy context;Physical principles;Building envelope;Building services;Energy Performance Certificate;Simulation tools – Energy modelling software;Building design best practice.
