Which are the #SmartHabits that allow you to save energy during summer? Take part in InBetween #H2020 Project Photo Contest and win a smart prize!

Summer is at the door and so our need for cooling.

According to the EU, the energy used to cool buildings across Europe is likely to increase by 72%,and it’s one of the EU top priorities to reach at least 32.5 per cent in energy savings and a share of at least 32 per cent renewables in final energy consumption by 2030.

Moreover, this summer it is likely that most of us will spend more time than usual at home due to the current COVID-19 outbreak and, for this reason, adopting a smart energy behavior can really make a difference to reach the goals set by the EU New Green Deal.

Do you know that InBetween H2020 Project offers solutions even for the summer months?

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 768776 to go beyond currently available ICT technologies used for inducing the End User behaviour change towards more energy efficient lifestyles by simultaneously assisting Users to identify energy wastes, learn how they can conserve energy and motivate them to act.

InBetween platform can calculate your PV production and consumption, can remote-control existing cooling equipment in order to optimize their usage and energy consumption, make forecasting and predictions, and, of course, reminds you when you leave a door or window open with potential energy waste and provides you with useful advice to make your home cooler!

To make all EU citizens aware of the key role they can play by adopting a more energy-efficient behavior through InBetween solutions, InBetween Project Consortium is glad to invite you to take part in our “#SmartHabits Photo Contest”, running from today 15 June 2020 until 15 September 2020.

How do you save energy while you are spending your time at home in summer?

Tell InBetween project partners more about the smart habits that allow you to save energy and money at your place: do you leave the door open to refresh rooms, take shorter and/or colder showers, close the shutters and/or do other actions to cool your apartment?

Are you a real energy saver who protects our environment thanks to your smart habits?

If so, prove it and take part in InBetweeb photo contest.
