BIM4EEB is a European funded project that aims to develop a BIM-based toolkit for energy-efficient building renovation. The project has just completed the first year of activities in full steam. Along the year, project partners have run surveys, interviews, conducted researches and are now strongly engaged in the development of the BIM4EEB platform and the Building Information Modelling (BIM) toolkit.

RE4 is a H2020 project which after 4 years has developed and tested on three demo sites in Europe and one demo in Taiwan, an energy efficient prefabricated elements for building refurbishment and construction, including an innovative mobile robotic sorting system.

The Campus Humanitas University is a new international university of medicine, located near the renowned Humanitas Research Hospital Hospital in Rozzano, near Milan.   The project involves the creation of a new university infrastructure serving about 1000 students. The campus, surrounded by a large park, takes full advantage of its location through a masterplan based on pedestrian paths, offering a harmonious relationship with the surrounding green, with no natural continuity solutions.

Villa Castelli is a listed building from the 19th century located at the riverside of Lake Como (Italy). The owners set the ambitious goal of renovating the Villa, which had belonged to the family for about 140 years, to the lowest possible energy demand while maintaining the original use of the rooms and the external appearance. The renovation achieved a 90% energy demand reduction and a significant increase in comfort, demonstrating that also a listed building can become nZEB.
