EXPERT TALKS is an initiative from the BUILD UP portal which has started in February 2020. In the form of face-to-face interviews, experts coming from all around Europe and covering the field of Energy Efficiency in buildings from different perspectives share their views, experiences and expertise with BUILD UP audience.   During this year, BUILD UP has invited and interviewed ten experts, addressing relevant topics linked to the Topic of the Month.

Concept:   The achievement of the EU climate targets for 2030 will be facilitated by the widespread adoption of renewable energy. Hosting capacity can be reached through the market uptake of citizen energy communities (CEC).   The EU-funded LIGHTNESS project will increase the renewable energy capacity through social engagement, a regulatory roadmap, a low-cost technological package and innovative business models.
