This document describes the results reached by the LEMON project, the tools - consultable on the website - and provides a series of useful suggestions to replicate the innovative deep retrofit process and avoid setbacks.

The tools elaborated and made available are:

• instruments for policy maker: training seminars

LEMON is a project funded as part of the European Horizon 2020 program with the purpose of providing technical assistance to public and private entities for the preparation of tenders for the energy retrofitting of 620 social housing units in the province of Reggio Emilia and Parma.

The project, operational from February 2016 to January 2020, will supplement regional and national loans and incentives to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings and apply new contractual instruments to govern the relation between tenants and owners of the residences, the energy supplier and the ESCos (Energy Service Companies) so as to ensure a return on investments within 15 years from the retrofitting.
