Due to the economic crisis only 30 percent of German producing companies invest into energy efficiency. Before the crisis it has been nearly double as many. At the same time the importance of energy efficiency for the companies has increased. This is the result of a poll made by dena, the German energy agency, at decision makers from industry and trade. After the crisis more than 60 percent of the companies want to invest in energy efficiency, with mostly the small companies having to catch up.
