The Enefirst consortium has launched its first publication, which defines the principle of Efficiency First (E1st) in a way to make it operational. The 2.5-year project, funded under the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme for Research and Innovation, seeks to provide decision makers in Europe with concrete policy recommendations based on quantitative analysis and best practice mapping.

The C4E Forum puts the Green Deal, and what it can mean for Central and Eastern Europe, center stage. The topic for the first high level plenary session is The Green Deal: How do we make it work for the CEE buildings? and we have invited Ministers from Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland and Romania as well as the European Commission to provide their views and discuss. Also, during the rest of the conference, the Green Deal will be featured in the discussions and presentations.

BIM4EEB is a European funded project that aims to develop a BIM-based toolkit for energy-efficient building renovation. The project has just completed the first year of activities in full steam. Along the year, project partners have run surveys, interviews, conducted researches and are now strongly engaged in the development of the BIM4EEB platform and the Building Information Modelling (BIM) toolkit.
