The C4E Forum puts the Green Deal, and what it can mean for Central and Eastern Europe, center stage. The topic for the first high level plenary session is The Green Deal: How do we make it work for the CEE buildings?
and we have invited Ministers from Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland and Romania as well as the European Commission to provide their views and discuss. Also, during the rest of the conference, the Green Deal will be featured in the discussions and presentations.

BIM4EEB is a European funded project that aims to develop a BIM-based toolkit for energy-efficient building renovation. The project has just completed the first year of activities in full steam. Along the year, project partners have run surveys, interviews, conducted researches and are now strongly engaged in the development of the BIM4EEB platform and the Building Information Modelling (BIM) toolkit.

Belgrade’s chief explained most of the structures were made in the 1950s and 1960s and that the goal used to be to build as many homes as possible, at the expense of energy efficiency. Today, he said, the bill is due and much more energy is used for the heating of homes than is necessary.

RE4 is a H2020 project which after 4 years has developed and tested on three demo sites in Europe and one demo in Taiwan, an energy efficient prefabricated elements for building refurbishment and construction, including an innovative mobile robotic sorting system.
