Analiza i prognoze za 2O22 Novoimenovani Renewables 2017 izvješće Međunarodne agencije za energetiku (IEA), nekad pod nazivom Srednjoročni izvještaj o tržištu obnovljivih izvora energije, daje detaljnu analizu tržišta i pregled kapaciteta i proizvodnje energije, proizvodnje biogoriva i potrošnje topline, kao i prognoza za razdoblje od 2017. do 2022. Ovogodišnje izvješće također daje dodatnu analizu o doprinosu električnih vozila na obnovljivom cestovnom prometu i na off-grid solarnom tržištu u Africi i razvoju Azije.

Green buildings represent a major global investment opportunity, with buildings making up the largest segment of the US$ 231 billion energy efficiency market. In the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)’s countries of operations, buildings also represent a challenge. Currently, building renovation rates and practices in these countries are far below Paris Agreement targets.

The EPB Center (energy performance of a building - EPB) is focused on the international harmonized set of EPB assessment methods and their implementation at national and regional levels. The Center is dedicated to provide stakeholders and interested parties with technical support for the implementation and dissemination of information on the set of EPB standards at national and regional level.   While providing this support the Center will also aim to assist with formulating needs in order to further develop and improve this set of EPB standards.

On 7-8 July, European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker met with other Group of Twenty (G20) leaders for a summit in Hamburg, Germany. This was the first such global meeting following the announcement by the US Administration of its intention to withdraw from the Paris Agreement on climate change.
