Reuters, 15 June 2017       Oil producer Norway will prohibit the use of oil and paraffin to heat buildings from 2020 as it tries to rein in domestic emissions of greenhouse gases, the government said on Thursday.   The ban will cover new and old buildings, and applies to private homes and businesses as well as publicly owned facilities, the Ministry of Climate and Environment announced.   "Those using fossil oil for heating must find other options by 2020," Environment Minister Vidar Helgesen said in a statement.

14. lipnja 2017. godine, Europski Savez društava za energetsku učinkovitost zgrada (EuroACE) organizirao seminar u Madridu, Španjolska, uštedu energije i rekonstrukciju zgrada u Španjolskoj. Više od 50 sudionika iz industrije, financijskog sektora, Europske Komisije, nacionalnih i lokalnih organa vlasti okupilo se u službenom odbora arhitekata Madrida (COAM), kako bi razgovarali o najvažniju ulogu rekonstrukcije zgrada u španjolskom energije tranzicije i za španjolske ekonomije.

U kontekstu revizije energetske učinkovitosti zgrada (epbd), ovaj seminar, koji će se održati   u četvrtak 22. lipnja 2017 (13:30 - 18:00) u Bruxellesu, Belgija u okviru Tjedna održive energije EC 2017 Energija dana, će nastojati podijeliti povratnim informacijama od arhitektonskih projekata, koje je uspješno prevladati teškoće u postizanju zdrave, udoban i produktivno okruženje na izrazito nisku energiju i potrošnju resursa i čine političke zaključke iz toga.
