The “International Symposium on Energy Efficiency in Buildings”, will take place on February 13-14, 2017 in Ankara in the scope of the project on “Technical Assistance for İmproving Energy Efficiency in Buildings”, which is co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Turkey.
The main aim of the International Symposium is to enable sharing of experience on developing energy efficiency concerns in buildings and implementation of EPBD and related standards. It will bring together public institutions, NGO’s, academics, students and representatives of the energy efficiency industry.
The Symposium will include topics such as policies and regulations, certification schemes- energy performance modelling approaches and tools, monitoring and energy management, energy efficient technologies, awareness and market driven incentives, financing energy efficiency, etc.
More than 350 participants are expected with speakers from about 15 countries.
This Symposium is organised under the auspices of Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation with support from the European Union Delegation.
