Are you planning to renovate a building? Would you like to combine energy efficiency improvements with architectural additions? The EU-funded ABRACADABRA project has developed 3 decision support tools for this purpose which you can test for free.
Case study buildings should either have planned energy renovations or have already undergone renovations. Tools and analytical methods developed by the project team will be applied to each case study building, providing valuable technical, financial and regulatory outcomes to aid the decision-making process.
By applying ABRACADABRA toolkits, each case study building will be provided with tailored information about suitable technical solutions, possible energy reduction, economic boosts for the investment and information about regulatory requirements. The case study buildings will also be promoted as part of the ABRACADABRA project, receiving international exposure and benefiting from inclusion in the ABRA-community, a broad and extensive European community of research institutes, construction companies, housing associations, energy agencies, public authorities and financial institutions that share this common commitment to innovative approaches for energy refurbishment.
To apply please fill out the provided Case Study Submission form and submit to firstname.lastname@example.org

Please note that submitting a case study building does not imply a commitment from your part to implement the solutions proposed.
The EU funded project ABRACADABRA is based on the assumption that increasing the real estate value through additional architectural designed space of an existing building, can unlock the financial potential to allow for a deep energy renovation. The project aims to accelerate the transition towards Nearly Zero Energy Buildings through reducing payback times and strengthening investor confidence. Widespread adoption of the approach would increase value and attractiveness of the building stock, along with making significant progress towards European Climate Goals.
