EuroACE is organising workshops in Member States to advocate for a quick and thorough transposition and implementation of the EPBD at national level.
The first event will take place next 8th May in Slovenia on Energy Efficiency in Buildings & Building Renovation in South East Europe. You’re very much welcome to join!
Last July 2018, the amended Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) entered into force, with a transposition deadline on 10th March 2020. Member States now have less than a year to implement new provisions on energy efficiency in buildings and building renovation. On this occasion, a workshop will be organised by EuroACE (the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings), with the support of Knauf Insulation, VELUX, and the C4E Forum.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday 8th May, at the Knauf Insulation Experience Centre (Trata 32, 4220 Skofja Loka, Slovenia).
REGISTRATION by Thursday 2nd May 2019 COB
This workshop will discuss energy efficient buildings and energy renovation of buildings in South East Europe, with a focus on Slovenia, Croatia, and Romania. Topics covered will be transposition and implementation of the EPBD and the Energy Efficiency Directive, national long-term renovation strategies, energy poverty alleviation, Smart Buildings, nearly zero energy buildings, as well as a session on financing energy efficiency measures in buildings. You will find the programme of the day as attached file to this email. The discussions will feature inputs from the EU level, national authorities, the business sector as well as researchers, enabling a good exchange of views on the topics.
For organisational reasons, please confirm your participation by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org at your earliest convenience, but no later than Thursday 2nd May COB. An email will be sent to you to confirm your registration, at the latest on Monday 6th May. Should you have any question or need additional information, please don’t hesitate to let us know in the meantime.
Looking forward to seeing you in Slovenia next month!
