FACEcamp project, funded under the Interreg V-A ITA-AUT first call and running from February 2017 to December 2019, aims at strengthening a long-term transnational cooperation among companies and R&I entities in the field of advanced façade systems for healthy, comfortable and energy efficient buildings. FACEcamp goal is to support stakeholders to cope effectively with the facade performances. Thus, the specific objectives are (i) to establish a transnational competence centre on advanced façade system, enhancing and sharing knowledge among research organization and enterprises; (ii) to improve existing metrics, modelling and measuring procedures to show the benefits of the advanced façade systems to a wide range of stakeholders.
During these almost 3 years of activities, the project partners have worked intensively towards the above-mentioned goals. The main results achieved regards: the procedures and tools for modelling and measuring of the Complex Fenestration System performances (including the so called “non-visual comfort”), on the one side, and the empowerment of an inter-regional knowledge hub on these technical topics, on the other. Such results will be presented and discussed during a dedicated free seminar on the 20.05.2019 (9-11.30) at NOI Tech Park in Bolzano-Bozen (Italy). The seminar will cover also the collateral but very relevant topic of the Facade Fire Safety Engineering. Please find out more details of the programme (https://www.facecamp.it/en/events/facecamp-results-seminar/) and register at the link (https://www.eventbrite.it/e/biglietti-facecamp-results-seminar-59687644351). The “Future Envelope 12” international conference will start the same day just after the seminar, so don’t miss it!
