October will see the start of the first LEED Lab in Spain, the leading course on sustainable construction developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) in accordance with LEED certification requirements.

The course’s first edition in Spain is organised by everis Group, which was officially approved by the USGBC to offer this programme with support from the Green Building Factory.

LEED Lab’s objective is to provide professionals with the knowledge, skills and experience they need to boost their careers in the sustainable and ecological construction sector or to take on new roles within it.

Furthermore, it also aims to prepare students to pass the official exam to become LEED Accredited Professions for Building Operations and Maintenance (LEED AP O+M).

It is a multidisciplinary immersion course based on learning through practice. It will be given by LEED professionals and sustainability experts from prestigious entities such as Green Building Council España (GBCe), Green Building Factory, Savills Aguirre Newman, Architectural Green Method, the Technical University of Madrid and everis Ingeniería, among others.

The course will be online from October to February and is a total of 30 hours. Students will learn everything they need to implement the most widely used sustainability requirements to a building.

By the end of the course, students will put all their acquired knowledge to practise by applying it to a real building.
