It provides good design practices for integrating energy efficiency in a health-care environment, while maintaining indoor air quality and required airflow and pressurization relationships. It covers a wide variety of heating and air-conditioning equipment as well as options for daylighting. The guide focuses on small health-care facilities up to 8400 m2.
The Advanced Energy Design Guide series provides recommendations for achieving 30% energy savings over ASHRAE Standard 90.1-1999.
