New report from BPIE – the Buildings Performance Institute Europe - highlights that more than half of EU Member States are six months late to submit their national Long-Term Renovation Strategies (LTRS), a key element of Europe’s strategy to decarbonise the building stock. YENESIS is a project funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. It will address the challenge of unemployment for young people that are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) in islands. Islands suffer from high unemployment throughout the year, with a seasonal peak on non-tourist periods, especially amongst young people.
