SEAI is Ireland's national sustainable energy authority; SEAI helps homes, businesses, communities, and industry to be more energy efficient. Also, supports the development of clean energy technologies that cause less harm to the environment. SEAI provides high-quality analysis and policy advice on a range of energy and climate issues at national and European level. This report brings together research findings and knowledge gathered by SEAI over the last six years on how to best stimulate home energy efficiency upgrades.

Είναι ένα φιλικό στη χρήση του και κατατοπιστικό εργαλείο πάνω σε ζητήματα χρηματοδότησης, το οποίο απευθύνεται κυρίως στις αρχές τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης καθώς επίσης και σε ιδιοκτήτες κτιρίων οι οποίοι επιθυμούν να ανακαινίσουν ενεργειακά το κτίριό τους εκ βαθέων, προκειμένου αυτά να χαρακτηριστούν κτίρια σχεδόν μηδενικής ενεργειακής κατανάλωσης (ΣΜΕΚ).

The Simplified Economic Evaluation Tool (CERtuS SE²T) has been developed under the CERtuS Project. It is a user-friendly and informative tool on financing issues, addressed principally to Municipalities but also to building owners that wish to implement a deep energy renovation on their buildings, in order for the latter to become nZEB. The CERtuS SE²T tool is used in the initial stages of a building retrofit project in order to evaluate the project's financial sustainability.
