The EBC Building Energy Codes Working Group (BECWG) is hosting a webinar on operational and construction issues related to energy use in buildings during the COVID-19 crisis. Presenters will discuss the safe operation of buildings and strategies to maintain healthy indoor air quality (IAQ), including guidance from ASHRAE and REHVA, as well as broader issues facing the design and construction industry, such as compliance checking and leveraging opportunities for virtual assessments.

EEPLIANT 3 stands for “Energy Efficiency compliant products” and it is a follow up of a series of older projects, EEPLIANT 1 and EEPLIANT 2, started in 2015. It focuses on the benefits of the energy efficiency regulation and on checking the level of compliance of energy products on the market. The innovative aspect of the project consists in dealing with both vertical and horizontal components of market surveillance of energy efficiency.
