It risks locking some EU consumers out of the energy transition currently under way and prevent them from benefitting from the advantages of an integrated, modernised and consumer-centric internal energy market.

The objective of this event is to promote energy efficiency as an opportunity for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to improve their competiveness by saving energy, as well as a new business model through the provision of energy services. This will be illustrated by projects supported by the Intelligent Energy Europe and H2020 programmes, paving the way for future initiatives to come forward.
