Since 1949, the Qualibat association is a qualification and certification body for construction companies. Qualibat is accredited by Cofrac. More than 70 000 workers are qualified or certified by Qualibat.   In 2011, Qualibat launched qualification "8711" for building airtightness testers. Almost 1000 testers have been qualified since then.   In 2014, Qualibat launched qualification "8721" for ductwork airtightness testers. Since then, around 70 testers have been qualified.

iBROAD, the new Horizon 2020 project aiming to explore, design, develop and demonstrate the concept of individual Building Renovation ROADmaps, kicked off  on 3-4 July 2017 in Athens, Greece.   These building renovation roadmaps will serve as a tool outlining deep step-by-step renovation plans with customised recommendations for individual buildings (iBROAD-Plan), combined with a repository of building-related information (logbook, iBROAD- Log).
