ASSIST (Support Network for Household Energy Saving) is an European project funded by the European Commission under the H2020 programme.
Its aim is to fight energy poverty by actively engaging consumers in the energy market, generating a positive change of behaviour in relation to energy consumption and to influence the design of energy poverty-oriented policies.

The Compete4SECAP project (C4S) aims at helping local authorities put their existing Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) into action.
The project promotes the adoption of standardized energy management systems in municipalities through the coordination of national competitions and peer-to-peer exchanges which steer the attention and involvement of local to national authorities in 8 European countries.

2020 is a major milestone of the European energy & climate policy framework. The latest trends in final energy consumption have shown that the main energy efficiency target of 20% overall energy efficiency improvement by 2020 could be missed.
By the end of 2019, the EU Member States will submit their final National Energy & Climate Plans, including targets for 2030 and strategies to achieve them.

The German government published, on May 28, a legislative proposal for the long awaited “Energy in Buildings Act”. The current draft law is not in line with the latest amendments of the EPBD from 2018.

The aim of EPATEE’s final conference is to present the conclusion of the project as well as to provide a platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge and discuss existing practices of the evaluation of energy efficiency policies in order to establish an energy efficiency evaluation community.
The conference serves at achieving one of EPATEE’s main targets: to enable user-oriented experience sharing and capacity building.
