The 4th Annual Construction Summit North will take place on 13 and 14 September 2017 at the University of Salford, in Manchester, United Kingdom. Now in its fourth year, this property and construction event will connect 400 delegates with some of the biggest names in the industry and will provide an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the region and across the UK construction sector.
Organised by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the University of Salford, the event will explore how the Government’s industrial strategy, regional devolution and the affordable homes programme will shape the North’s property sector in the years to come.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the region’s infrastructure and connectivity needs, how Brexit will affect strategic planning and investment and how policy changes will impact on business.
On the second day of the event, the Digital Technology Conference will take place, aiming to explore how the latest advances are changing the buildings we live and work in. The conference will explore how building information modelling, digital design, big data and the internet of things are revolutionising the way we think about property and construction.
Attendees will be informed on how big data is making buildings smarter and more efficient, how digital modelling can spot small errors before they become costly mistakes and anticipate how the technology of the future will change the way we work.
