On November 30, 2016, the European Commission (EC) released important pieces of proposed legislative amendments in the form of the “Clean Energy for All Europeans” package. It covers energy efficiency, renewable energy, the electricity market regulations as well as consumers and governance rules for the Energy Union. The proposed changes refer, inter alia, to the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED).

The better energy-efficient building components of today have one major flaw: The loss of efficiency through improper usage during the building process can be dramatic.   The EU-funded ACCEPT project (Assistant for Quality Check during Construction Execution Processes for Energy-efficienT buildings), will ensure the proper usage of the components during the building process with the help of Smart Glasses.

Final conference of the European project MLEI POSITIF organised by ARENE Île-de-France in partnership with Énergies POSIT’IF and FEDARENE. The event is organised in the framework of the EUSEW (European Union Sustainable Energy Week) in Brussels on 20 June 2017 afternoon.   The aim of this conference is to present innovative financial instruments that can be used for energy renovation in buildings and to promote the role of local/regional public agencies/governments in the implementation of these projects.
