REDay 2020
#Renovate2Recover: Prioritising Energy Renovation in the National Recovery Plans
REDay 2020 will take place on Tuesday, October 27th, 2020, and it will be a digital event. This year Renovate Europe Day will be accompanied by National level sister events organised by the REC National Partners, which will take place across the month of October.
COVID-19 has heavily impacted our daily lives and slowed down our economies. Investing in activities such as energy renovation of buildings is now more than ever capable of contrasting the current economic slowdown and unemployment rates, whilst setting a sustainable path towards climate neutrality.
Within this framework, the over-riding theme for REDay2020 events is to explore how energy renovation can be effectively prioritised and implemented by Member States through their national Recovery and Resilience Plans, and how a Renovation Management Facility as part of the Renovation Wave will help to implement these national renovation plans.
Join us on the 27th October 2020 (09:30-11:00 CET)
Citizens are more concerned than ever before about their jobs, well-being and quality of life. Energy Renovation stands at the intersection of the EU's green priorities and growth objectives, and is the linchpin to the EU's recovery. The Green Deal's Renovation Wave will provide further regulatory impetus and guidance on how to channel EU recovery funds into buildings.
Our Brussels event will be supported by at least 8 official National REDay 2020 Events in: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Romania and Slovenia.
