The European Commission has published a report on high energy performing buildings, showcasing EU funded innovation and market uptake projects.   A total of 24 projects funded under the Energy Efficiency part of the Horizon 2020 programme are presented, addressing three priority areas: deep renovation of existing buildings, new Nearly Zero-energy Buildings, and smart buildings.

The SCORES project is a newly launched research project supported by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme for Research and Innovation (Call H2020-EEB-2017, Project No. 766464) with a duration of 48 months.   On 27 October 2017, the European Commission presented the final Work Programme for Horizon 2020, covering the budgetary years 2018, 2019 and 2020.   The 2018-2020 Work Programme builds on the success of Horizon 2020 so far, and takes account of the extensive interim evaluation of the programme. The Work Programme also responds to the European Commission's political priorities and paves the way for its successor programme.
