It thereby is an interactive support web tool for most of the involved stakeholders (developer, design team, advisors, general contractor, suppliers/sub-contractors, investor and financer). The pinboard enables the organization of data and information in a user-friendly and understandable way.

New Circular Economy Business Model for More Sustainable Urban Construction The EU-28 total waste generation in 2014 was 2598M tones, the highest since 2004, 33.5% of which was from the construction sector, being also one of the larger consumers of inorganic raw materials. Construction activities are mainly localized in urban areas where by 2050 about 86% of the developed world is expected to live.

The first webinar has been recorded on May 16th, 2019 and it was followed by more than 100 people. The webinar presented the preliminary results of the GEOENVI project, which is working since November 2018. Energy efficiency – the concept of using less energy while keeping people and economies active and growing – came to the fore in the 1970s in response to the oil crises experienced by Western industrialised countries. However, the upfront costs were high and any potential returns were over a payback period far too long to be attractive. As the world moved into the new millennium, energy and the need to use it more efficiently resurfaced, this time on the global agenda rather than in national contexts.

With the "BIOREV Tropics" project, Nomadeis, BioBuild Concept and the Laboratoire d'Écologie Urbaine de La Réunion, have studied the particularities of insularity and the difficult problem of developing local sectors. Here is a summary of this document, which is one of the first steps towards full recognition of the specificities of construction in French tropical areas.

After France, the other chapters of the Construction21 networks have lifted the veil on the winners in their country! A victory that is in fact double, since a qualification for the international phase comes with a national award.    Juries of experts, chosen worldwide and divided into the different categories, now have the difficult task of analysing the finalist projects, in order to ultimately select the winning buildings, districts and infrastructures for the Green Solutions Awards.
