  U 2017 energetski gradova konferencija će se održati od 26. do 28. travnja u njemačkom gradu Stuttgartu, poznat po svojim proizvodnih aktivnosti, kao i za njegovo vizionarsko klimatske i energetske politike. U regiji, koji se može smatrati rodno mjesto njemačkog energetskog tranzicije (Energiewende), Stuttgart će služiti kao mjesto učenja na socijalne, kulturne, ekonomske i tehnološke promjene koje dolaze s energijom tranzicije u Europi.
