Initiated by the French association for the development of low carbon buildings (Association pour le développement du Bâtiment Bas Carbone-BBCA), the BBCA label for new office buildings was launched. This voluntary label attests the exemplary nature of the building carbon footprint.

This policy paper is a deliverable of the nearly Zero Energy Hotels (neZEH) project. The paper aims at addressing the tourism - energy - buildings nexus for EU policy makers, providing insights of the state of play of the accommodation industries (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises - SMEs) in relation to the building energy efficiency requirements stated in the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED).

REMOURBAN a catalyst for low carbon mobility in Tepebasi
The very same day REMOURBAN partners were holding a project meeting in Brussels, the real work on the ground to transform our cities and reduce emissions continued.
Tepebaşı Mayor Ahmet Ataç led the celebrated delivery of four new electric buses and 22 new hybrid vehicles as part of a major boost for mobility plans for the city and region on 9 March.

The EU Sustainable Energy Week 2016 (EUSEW 2016) will take place 13 - 17 June 2016, with Energy Days being organised during the whole month of June all across Europe.
Launched in 2006 as an initiative of the European Commission, EUSEW is a month-long annual series of activities across Europe, promoting secure, clean and efficient energy, and connecting policymakers, stakeholders and citizens to achieve climate and energy goals for the Energy Union.
