October will see the start of the first LEED Lab in Spain, the leading course on sustainable construction developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) in accordance with LEED certification requirements.   The course’s first edition in Spain is organised by everis Group, which was officially approved by the USGBC to offer this programme with support from the Green Building Factory.

Concept:   One of the principal challenges to increasing energy efficiency investments (EEI) is the lack of statistical data on the actual energy and costs savings achieved with them. Data is still hard to access because it is decentralized and in different formats.   Consequently, only a small part of this can be used to produce reliable empirical evidence on the performance of the EEI.

Concept:   The ultimate goal of the REFINE-project is to contribute to the supply of sufficient and attractive financing sources for investments into energy savings and related measures.   This will be achieved through enhancement and mainstreaming of refinancing schemes for energy efficiency services (EES) which are understood as important amplifier of market growth.

Concept:   Ren-on-Bill’s overall objective is to scale up investments towards deep energy renovations (ER) of residential buildings by promoting the development and implementation of On-Bill Financing schemes, based on the cooperation between energy utilities and financial institutions.   On-Bill Financing (OBF) is a method of financing ER investments that draws on utility bills as repayment vehicle.
