This electronic service is a tool created by the European Commission which aims to share and promote existing knowledge, guidelines, tools and best practices for energy-saving measures in buildings across Europe. At the same time, it aims to inform and update the market about the legislative framework in terms of goals, practical implications and future revisions.
BUILD UP is a European Commission initiative funded under the Intelligent Energy Europe programme.
The electronic service is provided by the service providers PRACSIS sprl, INIVE EEIG and Sympraxis Team in the framework of a service contract signed with the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) on the behalf of the European Commission (contract number – EASME/IEE/2014/001).
The present electronic service holds a wide range of interactive forums, resources (e.g. publications, cases, tools, guidelines, news, events) and links to websites from a number of organisations. The EASME and the service providers take no responsibility for information contained in these interactive forums, resources or linked websites.
The views expressed in the interactive forums, resources and linked websites have not been adopted or approved by the EASME or by the service providers and should not be relied upon as a statement of the EASME or the service providers.
The EASME and the service providers do not guarantee the accuracy of the information given in the resources or in the forums nor they accept liability for any use made thereof.

The service providers acting on behalf of the EASME are committed to the protection of personal data, in accordance with Regulation No.45/2001of the European Parliament and Council of 18 December 2000 "on protection of individuals with regard to processing of personal data by Community institutions and bodies and free movement of such data".
Upon registration, your personal data will be collected and processed. The EASME is the Controller of the electronic service while the service providers are in charge of the management and the maintenance of the portal.
Personal information is available to the service providers on behalf of the EASME. No personal data will be published without your permission.
All the information is recorded in a database hosted by the service providers. The database can be accessed only by authorised users using a User Id/Password. Access to the application is performed via a non-encrypted connection using the normal http protocol.
Your personal data will remain in the database until the end of the project, unless you decide to delete your profile prior to this.
Your personal data will thus be processed in conformity with the above-mentioned regulation. Should you have any queries about the processing of your personal data regarding, for instance, access to data and rectification of inaccurate data, you are invited to send your request to email@example.com.
