CIAR 2022 promotes technical and scientific knowledge and debate in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration involving researchers, academics and professionals.

The strong connection to environmental sustainability is the objective of this congress, as revealed for example by the choice of invited speakers and in the topics to be debated. Examples are: High Performance and Sustainable Buildings and Systems, Innovative Solutions and Technologies, Information and Communication Technologies for Intelligent Buildings, etc.

And, why Lisbon? Lisbon reflects the fusion between the past and the future and the commitment to the green economy, as in 2018 it was distinguished with the European Green Capital Award 2020; as well as, there is an evident bet on renewable energies and green economy by Portugal.

Finally, and in an allusion to the past and the future, CIAR 2022 reveals an innovative digital image and positioning. The aim is to allow all those interested to have an intuitive and different navigation.
