The ‘Technical study for the development of an EU framework for digital building logbooks (DBL)’ is coming to an end. The study developed a Semantic Data Model and data dictionary for DBLs as well as technical guidelines for Member States to implement DBLs as national portals that act as a single point of entry to verified and trusted building data.

The purpose of this final event will be a final occasion to bring all stakeholders together and present the project results as well as exchange about the future development of DBL and the use of the EU framework:

  • Present the project’s results and in particular the EU DBL framework and the technical guidelines to implement it
  • Exchange ideas on the future development of digital building logbooks in EU Member States
  • Look forward on the future development of building data and its use to support decarbonisation, circularity, productivity and new business models
  • Discuss on how DBLs can be a gateway for building related data from and its links to Building Renovation Passports, Smart Readiness Indicators, Level(s) and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) to ensure compatibility and integration of data throughout the lifecycle of buildings.

Registrations will close on the 24th of September.
