The BuiltHub project launched in Autumn 2020, with the goal of supporting a rapid and cost-effective transformation of the European building stock. This goal is in sight, with the creation of the BuiltHub roadmap, which outlines the process necessary for acheiving a sustained data flow that clearly defines the status of the EU building stock, as well as the BuiltHub Platform, which draws together a community of data users and contributors who are passionate about the transition to a more sustainable building stock.

A final event will be held in May 2024 to celebrate the steps taken throughout the duration of the BuiltHub project, as well as to explore the role that BuiltHub outcomes can play in supporting the recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. It is an exciting time to explore innovative resources that can help governments energise the transformation of the EU building stock, and BuiltHub has a role to play in this process.
